These small, adaptable urban parks —rooted in the ABC of Peace — engage people in reflection, learning, and community-driven action. By expanding Peace Circles™ city by city, we create a global network of spaces that foster sustainable living, community cohesion, and a shared commitment to peace for both the planet and its people.

Our Story
Peace Circle™ grew from a 20-year tradition of planting peace trees, initiated by Mika Vanhanen and the ENO schools. This simple yet powerful act of environmental stewardship and peacebuilding laid the foundation for what would become a global movement. Rooted in the Plant And Care For Peace network, Peace Circle™ now focuses on creating small, adaptable urban parks that serve as spaces for reflection, learning, and community connection. These parks symbolize our commitment to fostering peace and sustainability across the world.
